Nominations Sought for the Office of Virginia PTA Treasurer

The Nominations and Leadership Development Committee (NLDC) seeks nominees for the office of Virginia PTA Treasurer. Interested nominees should possess the skills and background to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the office of Treasurer as indicated both in the Virginia PTA Bylaws and Standing Rules. Nominees must be a member of a local unit in Virginia who has served on the Board of Managers for at least one term. Read the responsibilities of the state Treasurer.

Nomination Packets must be postmarked by April 26, 2010 and sent to NLDC chair Brenda Sheridan, 23 Butternut Way, Sterling, VA 20164. Download the packet. Questions about the position of Treasurer or the nominations process should be addressed to the NLDC Chair.
