Virginia PTA 90th Annual Convention

Our annual convention is the business meeting of the Virginia PTA. Your unit should send "delegates" to amend and approve state bylaws, elect state officers, and attend workshops on running your PTA and emerging issues. Resolutions are presented, and those adopted by the convention body establish the positions of the State PTA.  All local units in good standing are encouraged to send representation (delegates) to convention. Attending Convention and other training is a legitimate PTA expense for local units.

REMEMBER:  Although Early Registration has ended, the deadline for REGULAR registration for the 90th Annual *Imagine, Believe, Achieve* Virginia PTA Convention is October 18! This offers those units who have not had time to get their registration in, a final extension to register for the reduced rate of  $150.00*. This covers the cost of a wonderful two days of workshops (including your Lunch & Learn series with free lunchbox), general sessions, awards luncheon (free plate lunch), voting on bylaws and your new officers, and visiting with exhibitors that specialize in PTAs.  Don't miss this opportunity to save your unit $50 per registration!
