Look for judges with knowledge of the specific category. They could be journalists from the local newspaper, teachers, professionals in the field (i.e. photographers, dance instructors, etc.), or senior citizens, just to name a few.
It is imperative the Student Entry Form accompanies the entry through every level of the program.
Ensure your unit is in good standing.
All students who participated in your Reflections program should be recognized. Ideas for a recognition program include:
An "Evening of the Arts," where students and their families can come and see this year's entries, as well as some live performances of dance choreography, literature, and musical composition submissions.
Attaching the recognition program to an already scheduled school event such as band and/or chorus concerts.
The online PTA store sells several items to use to recognize the students who entered your Reflections program.
