  • Units register online and get materials and ideas to support volunteerism and parent involvement.   People pledge 3 hours of time over the course of a year to a child.  PTA provides suggestions for involvement.

  • This arts program recognizes achievement in photography, dance, video/film, music composition, literature, and visual arts for students in elementary, middle and high school.

The Power of Partnerships (follow up phase to Building Successful Partnerships (BSP) Program & Parent Involvement Schools of Excellence Certification)

  • Parent involvement equals student success.  Download great info for parents, teachers and administrators.
  • Call your state office and ask for a Power of Partnerships (formerly known as BSP) workshop in your school.
  • Assemble a team and do a self-assessment of your school’s parent involvement.  Take action by implementing the National Standards for Family-School Partnerships, and participate in the The Phoebe Apperson Hearst Family-School Partnership Awards (monetary recognition for Outstanding and Awards of Excellence categories).  Get National Recognition for Your Collaborative Efforts!
