What
is a Resolution?
A resolution
is an original main motion, which because of
its importance, length, or complexity is submitted
in writing. At conventions or conferences new
business is introduced through resolutions.
Why Submit a Resolution?
A resolution calls for action by the Virginia PTA
and/or its units, council, districts, or regions. Resolutions
are your opportunity to address problems, situations, or
concerns which affect children and youth statewide and
which require statewide action for solutions.
