Elected Officers

The state office, located in Richmond, is under the general supervision of the president and Office Building Management (OBM) Committee. An office administrator provides full-time supervision of the administrative staff that supports the PTA elected leadership and general membership.

Regular mailings are sent from the state office to the president of local units and councils. It is the responsibility of the local unit and council president to distribute materials to the appropriate persons on the local unit or council board. Many materials can be found in electronic format in the Membership Library section of this website.

The Virginia PTA State Office serves as liaison with the National PTA
