The
Virginia PTA Bulletin
The Bulletin is Virginia PTA's publication of record, published quarterly. Each local PTA receives five (5) free mailed copies, one of which automatically goes to the principal. The Bulletin Distribution From which is sent to local unit presidents each spring must be submitted annually to the state office in order for local units to take advantage of their free subscriptions. Additional subscriptions may be purchases at $10 a year. In addition the Bulletin is archived on the web site. Go to Membership Library to download a copy.

The website makes Virginia PTA/PTSA available to the membership 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week. The website features a PUBLIC section highlighting the
PTA and the MEMBERS-ONLY section where PTA leaders and members can access PTA
handbooks, forms, correspondence, training, and much more. Managed by the Technology
Committee, new and improved features are added regularly.

PTA VOICE
An email subscription service, VA PTA VOICE, is sent to subscribers at least twice a month (on Mondays as events warrant) to highlight upcoming Virginia PTA events and
observances, and provide news from standing committees. It provides information
for councils and local units to use for publicizing their events, programs
and projects, as well as publicizing their attendance at Virginia PTA functions.
At signup, members have an opportunity to subscribe to committee newsletters
according to their interests and responsibilities.

Week in Washington is a free online
newsletter providing up-to-date information from
our nation’s capital. You will receive regular
updates on top legislative issues affecting children,
special events attended by PTA officers and members,
Supreme Court decisions, and information about grants
and awards for your local schools. In addition, material
from This Week in Washington can be incorporated
into your own newsletters, provided you include attribution
to National PTA.

and Family Involvement Programs can be ordered
now. The book is a comprehensive, practical resource
to bring parents, educators, communities, and schools
