Environmental Issues

The National PTA recognizes the importance of environmental issues and their impact on the health and welfare of children. A number of position statements and resolutions that reflect PTA members' concerns about environmental issues have been adopted by the National PTA.

Contact the State Office for more information on these National PTA resolutions and position statements and ask if your state has additional environmental resolutions. 

In addition, the National PTA supports comprehensive school health programs which advocate a healthy school environment along with environmental health education programs for students.
